This pasta recipe is my go-to when I'm looking for something quick and easy to make. It's simple, yet flavorful, and can be customized with whatever ingredients you have on hand. Plus, it only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish! So if you're looking for a fast and tasty dinner option, this pasta recipe is sure to hit the spot.

What you’ll need :

Pasta of your choice, I personally love angel hair pasta for this recipe

Butter

Garlic

Chilli flakes (optional)

Salt

Meat/Vegetable of your choice

Parmesan cheese powder

I’m pretty sure you already have all these ingredients in your kitchen. So, let's get started!

Boil The Pasta

First, pour some water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Then, put your pasta into the boiling water and let it cook for about 8-10 minutes.

Chop The Garlic

While you’re waiting for the pasta to cook, you can start chopping the garlic. You can use as much garlic as you like. If you’re a newbie to cooking, I suggest going with 2 cloves. I personally LOVE garlic so I’ll be adding 4 cloves of garlic to this meal.

Drain The Pasta

Now once the pasta is ready, you want to make sure you don’t leave them in the boiling water so that they don’t get overcooked. Instead, drain the pasta. Don’t rinse it as you’ll be removing all the starch. The starch is what helps whatever sauce you’re going to use to stick to it. Remember to save some pasta water for later!

Stir Fry The Pasta

Next, put some butter into a pan and let it heat up until it melts. Then put your garlic in. Once you can smell the garlic (I mean does anything smell better than frying garlic in butter?), put a meat/vegetable of your choice. For this recipe, I’m going with some sausages. Let it fry till it’s golden brown and then add the pasta to the pan. Add as much salt as needed. If you feel the butter has salted the pasta enough, you can omit this step. I also love my pasta to be a little on the spicier side so I will add some chilli flakes. Last but not least, add in the pasta water you were saving earlier! Let it cook for several minutes.

Enjoy Your Meal!

Once it’s cooked, turn off the heat and place it on a plate. Next, sprinkle some parmesan cheese powder on it. This is my favourite part! I love parmesan cheese! I mean who doesn’t right? Now, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a good show while eating this scrumptious pasta you just put together in less than 20 minutes!

Stay tuned for more easy-to-make recipes. I’m always on the lookout for ways to make dinner preparations a little simpler. Until then, enjoy this pasta recipe!
